TRADERS' RIDGE RESORT WELCOMES RYAN AND BETH LEE!
They were both born and raised in Texas , where they met while attending the University of Texas in Austin . They have 3 beautiful dogs, their kids, who will be joining them shortly.
Executive Chef, Ryan has been in the culinary and hospitality industry for over 14 years and has cooked almost every cuisine imaginable. He is excited to be working with all the wonderful local fruits and vegetables this beautiful island has to offer. If you have any questions about the food or the island, or would like to participate in one of our cooking classes, please do not hesitate to ask.
Beth was in ballet for ten years and danced with both Boston and Joffery Ballets until an injury ended her short career. She went to school for Fashion Marketing, and worked for a prominent public relations firm in New York City upon graduation. Missing the Texas sun, southern hospitality, and most of all Ryan, she decided to return to Texas . Together they decided to explore different parts of the world and are excited to be here in this island paradise on Yap . Her favorite thing about the island is all the beautiful flowers, and of course, the warm, welcoming Yapese people. Be sure you ask the about their first trip to the Northern region of the island, Maap!
